This Privacy Policy explains how Car Sync Connect handles information when you use our iOS and iPadOS application. By using the App, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Car Sync Connect is a standalone digital driving cockpit and companion experience for your device. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. Apple, FaceTime, App Store, and related marks are trademarks of Apple Inc.Â
1. Information We Handle
- Location: used for GPS speed, maps/nearby places, and local weather while you use related features. Processed on device via Apple frameworks where applicable.
- Contacts: optional, for call/message shortcuts in Driving Mode.
- Camera / Photos: optional, for Assist attachments. Matching/diagnosis patterns run on-device.
- Preferences: units, keep-screen-awake, car-audio auto-open dashboard, selected cockpit theme, and similar settings. Stored locally.
- Purchases: handled by Apple / RevenueCat for Premium entitlements.
- Diagnostics: Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics / Performance may receive device and usage events.
2. Third Parties
- Apple services (App Store, MapKit, WeatherKit where enabled)
- RevenueCat (subscriptions)
- Firebase (analytics/crash/performance)
- System Music Now Playing may display title/artist/artwork from the Music app when available
- Image CDN for vehicle artwork
3. Accounts
We do not require you to create a Car Sync Connect account or profile.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide and operate App features (Driving Mode, Live Cluster / GPS speed, maps/navigation, weather via WeatherKit with Apple Weather attribution, Now Playing, Trip Stats, garage, Assist, communications shortcuts).
- Process Premium purchases and restore entitlements.
- Improve stability and understand feature usage.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share data only with service providers listed above as needed to operate the App, or when required by law.
6. Retention & Security
Preference and Assist history data remain on your device unless you clear them in Settings. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
7. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this Policy. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Policy.
