Though she now resides in Maryland, she grew up in Georgia, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Choral Music Education with a History Minor from Kennesaw State University.
Tessa has been singing four-part close harmony a cappella (style of barbershop) since she was 14 years old with many contests, camps, and conventions under her belt. Since 2010, she has competed as the lead in 8 different quartets, Song of Atlanta Show Chorus, The Harmonizers, Metro Voices, and Northern Blend Chorus - winning a number of chorus medals and quartet championships.
Being a part of the Alexandria A Cappella Collective since she moved to the area in 2019 is something she is very proud of. Having helped lead the way through and participate in the organization's tremendous growth over the past few years has been extremely rewarding and exciting. Her passion is diverse youth involvement and she strives to bring her love of music and singing to the young people she meets.
