You walk into the Dispatch Center located within the Portal Hub of Evergate.

Resembling Earth's NYC Grand Central Station, the room opens up to a grand terminal. While a bit chaotic, there was a sense of order to it. Portals surrounded the area with displays on top, informing which dimension it was connected to before changing destinations after one party to prepare for the next party's travels. Beacon parties flowed in and out of different portals, some being escorted to the portal that went to Evergate's own hospital. Looking at the scheme as a whole, the travelers resembled a coursing river and everyone had their own goal.

Several grand octagonal desks were situated in the center of the room, each side of the desk with their own guide speaking to parties intending to go on a mission. A magical hologram made an inner octagon within each desk, standing tall. It beamed up dimensions like stars in a galaxy and as you watched, it honed in on both familiar and unfamiliar regions of other dimensions. With the gold projections, red dots were scattered across which indicated a person in need.

Parties selected missions they felt competent in learning the terrain and accomplishing, causing the dot to whisk away just like the party heading to the portal to teleport to the dimension's location. You wait in line for your turn and as the party in front of you leave, you step up to the available side of the octagonal desk. The dispatcher smiles warmly at you.
