Now, I don't think he will probably not let you get your hands on his latest work, BUT, surely he can give you something to do. Making many copies of the same weapons can be monotone and time consuming, so despite the blacksmith's stubborn nature, he does appreciate assistance when someone's willing to give it. If you don't mind the hard work and the heat, you are welcome to see if you're made for the job.

1.) Make Music With Those Tools.
That's what Laios may tell those who come and insist on offering their help, he doesn't mean it literally. There's plenty to do at the shop to help the good ol' blacksmith, don't mind the loud voice, he has to make sure you can hear him through the clanking of his hammer.
Clean the tools, organize the blueprints, help keep the forge hot, and if you're familiar with LARP-ing foam weapons, why not try making one or two, he does need them as a front, you know ? Or talk some new clients into buying the latest foam replica of the cool magic sword you own!

There are two sides to Laios' shop, as a front in Mirstone the place is packed with LARP-ing equipment, all high quality but all foam or wood, and through his personal portal, that's where the actual workshop for all the actual weapons is along with any necessities he requires for the job.
