The California Association of Permit Technicians (CAPT) is a statewide professional community dedicated to supporting Permit Technicians and others working in similar roles through connection, collaboration, and professional growth. CAPT provides members with opportunities to build valuable industry relationships, share resources and best practices, and participate in trainings, workshops, and educational discussions designed to strengthen both personal and professional development. Whether you are new to the profession or an experienced industry professional, CAPT offers a welcoming network committed to helping members succeed and grow together.
CAPT regularly meets monthly every 2nd Wednesday from 3:30PM - 4:30PM via Teams.
Membership for CAPT is currently free! We plan to launch our tiered membership plans sometime in June 2026. At that time, we will offer 2 membership options: Basic and Premium. Basic membership will remain free, while Premium membership will be $25/year per person.
When the tiered system becomes available, notification will be sent out to all members and posted across our social media. Changes to benefits for each tier will become effective 1 month after tiered memberships become available.
