I visited Fishermans Island in February of 2020 during a tour that the US Fish and Wildlife Service ran there. The tour is run by volunteers who do a wonderful job. You get a chance to see island that is normally closed to the public and that historically has played a variety of roles. If you are interested you can click on the links below for more information.
