SYMPHONIC BAND

This course meets UC/CSU (F) and District graduation requirements for Visual & Performing Arts. Symphonic Band is open to all qualified wind and percussion players. The Symphonic Band primarily consists of freshman and younger players. The course is oriented toward preparation and performance of high quality band literature as well as encouraging improvement of music fundamentals and technical playing skills. In addition, this ensemble performs outside the regular school day in Concerts and Festivals.
