Elder Quentin L. Cook: “Because of the Restoration, we understand the important and pivotal role Elijah has played in the salvation of mankind. Elijah committed to Joseph Smith the priesthood keys pertaining to the sealing power to bind sacred ordinances and covenants on earth and in heaven. This includes the vicarious ordinances of salvation and exaltation that must be performed here on earth in the temples of the Lord. The sealing ordinances are effective after this life and in the eternities—to seal husbands and wives, parents and children. Without these keys, there are no eternal families, and “the whole earth would be utterly wasted.”

Stake Service & Inspire: This will be from Tues., Sept. 8 - Thurs., Sept. 10 at the stake center. All individuals and families are invited to help with on-site service projects and other activities. More info to follow.
Stake Priesthood Meeting: This is on Sun., Sept. 13th at 3:30 pm in the Stake Center.
Fast Sunday: The next Fast Sunday will be held on Sun., Sept. 27th.
Primary Program Practice: This will be held in the chapel on Sat., Oct. 10th from 10:00-11:30 am. The program will be the next day on Sun., Oct. 11th.
RS Nativity Rock Craft: This is on Wed., Oct. 14th. Janice Sherwood has collected most of the rocks for this, but it would be great if everyone could find a few rocks shaped like small arms for Mary and Joseph.
FamilySearch Center Staffing Needs: Members who are called need not be experts in FamilySearch but need to have some working knowledge of the program. They need help Mondays through Fridays. Click on the Updated Stake Announcements Link below for more information.
Stake YW's Sports: This will be every Thursday at 4:00 pm at the Stake Center.
Institute Classes For Couples: This new class will be offered for couples ages 18-35 every Monday night at the UVU Institute Building beginning August 24th.
Covenant Prep – Every Sunday at 2:30pm in the Stake Center Relief Society room. All juniors and seniors are invited.
