The instructor completes the Canvas LMS Request Form. This will provide MTA with the basic information needed to start creating the course. The instructor will still have to send any content or assignment files to mateacheronline@gmail.com
MTA builds the course in Canvas for the instructor with the information provided in the request form, the files and assignment due dates sent via email to mateacheronline@gmail.com.
MTA sets up a time to meet with the instructor and for a Canvas LMS demo to get them comfortable using the LMS for managing assignments.
Instructor sends the email invitation to participants and includes MTA so we can add participants to the course. Participants receive the activation email from Canvas LMS.
The instructor will find the list of participants and their email in their assign MTA Google Drive Folder.
The MTA uses the class roster to create user accounts and to add users to their course. Then, MTA publishes the course to make it available to participants.
This process triggers the welcome email from Canvas to the participants.
