I work as an Economist at the IMF African Department (currently Mozambique, previously WAEMU, Eswatini and Niger). Previously, I was an economist at the IMF Monetary and Capital Markets Department (Global Markets Analysis Division). I have completed my PhD in Economics at the University of Maryland (UMD), College Park in 2019. I research in the areas of International Finance and Macroeconomics, and Political Economy.
I worked as a Summer Intern at the IMF Asia-Pacific Department (Regional Studies Disivison, 2018), and the IMF Research Department (Structural Reforms Unit, 2017). I was also a Short Term Consultant at the World Bank (Development Economics Research Group, 2016).
I taught courses on Financial Markets and Macroeconomics as an instructor (2016-19), and was a Teaching Assistant for Intermediate Macroeconomics course (2014-16) at UMD. Previously, I worked as a Teaching Assistant at Bogazici University (2012-14).
