I have worked in Pasadena Independent School District since 2001 and currently serve as the Coordinator of K–12 Mathematics. I believe all students can learn mathematics to the degree that unleashes limitless college and career opportunities.
My vision for mathematics instruction is to empower the minds of K12 students through mathematics - inspiring deep understanding, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving skills.
I hold a bachelor's degree in mathematics, a master's degree in multicultural studies in education, and an educational doctorate degree focusing on curriculum and instruction - STEM.
I am certified in the state of Texas to teach the following: Mathematics (Grades 4-8), Mathematics (Grades 8-12), and English as a Second Language (Grades 4-12). I am also certified to teach online fulfilling the requirements of the Texas Virtual School Network (TXVSN).
