Our Artifact Analysis- "By Our Artifacts You Will Know Us" kit allows the learner to get to know the Ancestral Puebloan people by studying artifacts of many kinds (pottery, bone, stone, and plant) representing several aspects of the culture. Students will be able to handle and analyze artifacts to make inferences as to what their uses, materials, and origins were. Each kit is accompanied by activities and lesson plans that encourage discovery, observation, and critical thinking about the uses of the artifacts and the daily lives of the people they represent.  Activities also include the importance of comparing and contrasting our modern lives to the ways of the past.
