Dear Parent or Guardian,

As you know we have a set of classroom rules. These are considered our acceptable use policy or AUP. An AUP helps students focus and provides structure throughout their day. As we go along through the year we may add to our rules as need arises. I would also like for our students to continue the practice of using rules and structure during their time away from school. This can be a collaboration between you and your child to come up with some rules that are tailored specifically to them and help them develop. They can include such things as a limit on how long they spend on social media or playing a game. Making their bed daily, going for a walk or run, or a set time to spend together as a family with no technology so that you can recap your day.
