Supervision

My supervision entails:

• Sound grasp of research design and administrative processes for proposals

• Deep knowlege of literature in the field of South African foreign policy and IR as a social science/IR theory

• Attention to detail

• Critical and close reading

• I work within the understanding of writing as identity and help you find your voice

• I am, however, not able nor interested to supervise ideology. I prefer to stick to science as far as possible.

• Africa’s diplomacy, especially the African Union

• South Africa’s foreign policy

• Brazil’s foreign policy

• The Global South in global politics

• The Global South in IR Theory
