I am an academic in International Relations with world-class qualifications and a growing body of research with an extensive teaching and supervision record. My focus areas are the international politics of the Global South, and the foreign policies of South Africa and Brazil. I am currently working on a manuscript on South Africa’s foreign policy.
I have been working in the field since 2001 as a researcher, lecturer and supervisor. I obtained my PhD from the London School of Economics and Political Science in 2011. I have graduated 3 PhDs, 4 Masters and more than 40 Honours students in the broad areas of African and South African politics, South African foreign policy and the international politics of the Global South.
