About Me
About Me
I began my 13-year career at Verizon on the frontlines as a Customer Service Representative. That experience shaped how I approach learning, grounded in empathy for the pace, pressure, and expectations of customer-facing roles.
As I transitioned into Learning & Development, I have focused on designing solutions that support the people doing the work, reducing friction, building confidence, and enabling stronger performance where it matters most.
I focus on creating learning experiences that deliver real, measurable impact. Through targeted strategy and thoughtful design, I’ve reduced churn by 6.3%, drove completions to over 90%, and improved program satisfaction from ~20% to ~80% across 2,500+ employees. My work has also accelerated ramp-to-productivity by 20% and supported large-scale enablement efforts across organizations of 35,000+ agents.
Results matter to me, but the way we achieve those results matters just as much. I focus on building cultures, systems, and experiences that allow people to do their best work. I believe high performance grows naturally in environments where people feel supported, connected, and challenged in healthy ways.
From building interactive courses in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360, to producing polished videos and media with Camtasia, Vyond, Snagit, Canva, and Adobe Creative Cloud, I pair strong visual design with Adult Learning Theory to create the right product for the learning need. I have created Job Aids with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and built guided simulations with Skyllful. I streamline workflows and project plans with Smartsheet, Adobe Experience Manger, and Figma. I also integrate AI tools like ChatGPT, Copilot and Gemini to move faster, think bigger, and continuously elevate the learner experience.
My work in learning and development has been consistently recognized for driving measurable impact across customer service and operational teams. From enterprise-level honors such as a Brandon Hall Gold Award and contributing to Verizon L&D initiatives recognized in Training Magazine’s Hall of Fame, to internal recognitions for performance and leadership, these awards reflect my focus on building scalable, high-impact learning programs that improve both employee experience and business outcomes.

Originally from Baldwinsville, NY, I now live in Huntsville, AL with my laid-back, fun-loving husband, our two hilarious, imaginative kids, and our three rescue dogs, Hank, Avery, and Roxy.
Outside of work, I’m usually making something. I run a small handmade business with my husband creating candles and air freshies and anything else we think of. Our house has slowly turned into a full-on maker space with a Cricut, 3D printers, an xTool laser cutter, and a growing wood shop. In the summer, you’ll find us at local craft markets, usually running on caffeine and controlled chaos.
I’m also a self-proclaimed nerd who loves to laugh, with a lifelong love of video games, tech, and anything science-related. Oh, and I will absolutely debate anyone that Shrek is the funniest movie ever made.
