The Canberra Lacemakers started informally in 1978 with a group of Canberrans and friends from surrounding New South Wales, who wanted to share and develop their lacemaking skills.
Over time, the membership has grown, as have the range of laces produced within the group.
New comers will find lots of support, whether you are interested in bobbin lace, needle lace or tatting. Importantly you will make new friends whilst developing skills.
Be warned: making lace can be addictive!
