The South Stratford Canal makes up a part of the Stratford Canal which runs from Kings Norton Junction where the canal meets with the Worcester and Birmingham Canal to the River Avon at Stratford Upon Avon. The North Stratford runs from Kings Norton Junction to Kingswood Junction where it meets with the Grand Union Canal. Then from Kingswood Junction near the village of Lapworth the South Stratford Canal runs down to Stratford Upon Avon.
