How to get Involved

CYHS membership is open to graduate students conducting water research at Canadian Institutions. A membership call goes out at the start of every academic year. Along with executive roles, we also take on members at large. 

Membership involves actively attending monthly meetings, and supporting events throughout the year as needed. Roles are allocated on a first come first serve basis, and time spent working with CYHS may be counted as volunteer hours. Though the time commitment is low, active participation is required from members.

Activities may include:

• Planning and executing the student conference

• Organizing social and academic activities at CGU

• Judging presentations at the CGU student conference. 

• Others depending on interest and skills
