The Canadian Young Hydrologic Society (CYHS) was founded in 2015 and became an official committee of the Canadian Geophysical Union Hydrology Section (CGU-HS) in 2016. The CYHS is affiliated with the YHS, following similar goals but facilitating them in a Canadian context.

CYHS just had their first meeting of the semester, and welcomed new members from across Canada!
September 2026: CYHS is getting ready to put out the fall membership call, and will begin discussion about submissions for a CGU workshop or panel
August 2026: CYHS is in recess for the summer field season, safe travels everyone!
