Can You Still Download Pokemon Transporter

I'm turning 16 in a couple months and the e-shop is long dead, this much is known. Problem is that I want to keep all my pokemon and take them into the newer games via pokemon home, but i need pokemon transporter to get them from the game i'm gonna spend my birthday money on (Pokemon black), and it seems pretty much gone.

the only lead i've found is the games pokemon transporter is compatible with (potentially) still has a download link in the main menus. Is this true? Is there another way to get Pokemon transporter?

I have two 3DS consoles. Both have Bank and Transporter installed. One had an active pass and both apps still work. The other had an expired pass, like many of you, and while Bank now works, Transporter does not.

The way that Poke Transporter worked was that it would register either the virtual console games on the 3DS' memory, or the Pokemon Black, White, Black 2, or White 2 games in the DS slot. From there, fans could pick a PC box of their favorite critters, and move them into Pokemon Bank. Black and White also had backwards compatibility with Diamond and Pearl, making it so if fans were diligent enough to transfer across several games, they'd still be able to take their Pokemon all the way from the original Red, Blue, and Yellow versions to Bank, and even to Pokemon Home.

Fans shared the messages on social media, and a mix of other fans who could use Transporter just fine came in and expressed confusion. It seems that those who had an active Bank subscription, or purchased one before the eShop shuttered, can still use the app.

The complicated part is this: the Poke Transporter still works to transfer into the Pokemon Bank, but it's officially been shut down. If you still have it installed, you can use it. In fact, if you ever had it installed, you can even redownload it and use it. However, new users, as of March 27, 2023, are completely barred from this convenience. If that's you, your transferring journey stops here.

First, make sure Pokemon Transporter is still downloaded on your 3DS. If it isn't, you won't be able to redownload it through the Nintendo eShop directly. Instead, open the Pokemon Bank app, and choose 'Download Pokemon Transporter' from the menu.

If you want to move all your Pokemon immediately from Bank to Home, you don't even need to still own your 3DS. Open Pokemon Home on Nintendo Switch, choose the 3DS icon, then select 'No Nintendo 3DS.' It searches for a Pokemon Bank account with the same Nintendo Account name. If it finds one, it can mass transfer all of your Pokemon at once.

Earlier it seemed that Transporter was broken even for players who had properly gone through all the steps, but that was just a glitch - old Bank subscribers can still save their old Pokemon. The rest of us will have to prepare to say goodbye to all our old creatures once those cartridges finally go kaput.

Finally, there's a way to transport your Pokmon from games, old and new, to one convenient place. While not all Pokmon can travel between games, you can still store them all in the new Pokmon HOME. With plenty of Pokmon games available on Nintendo Switch, and Scarlet and Violet on the way, you'll want to be prepared.

Kinda tickled to discover my pokemon were still in Bank even though I sold all my pokemon game carts and haven't opened Bank in at least six years. Though I'm not sure I care enough to pay $3 to transfer them.

Wait, so it's Bank, not Home, that's free for a month? Meaning I still have to pay the ridiculous $15.99 a year/$2.99 a month (which is significantly more than I already am) regardless of whether I transfer it now or if I transfer it later? Screw that then. Dropping the much cheaper Bank subscription does nothing to make me want to jump on this, it's the exorbitant price of Home itself that's putting me off to this.

There is a slow way to transfer some pokemon from Pokmon Go to Pokemon Home and further into Pokemon Sword & Shield.

1st transfer any eligible pokemon from Pokmon Go to Pokmon Let's Go Pikachu/ Eevee in the Go Park.

Then using the Switch, log in to Pokmon Home and transfer those Pogo Mons from Let's Go to the Pokmon Home boxes.

Finally transfer that pokemon from Pokmon Home into Your Pokmon Sword or shield game.

I have already done this with a dratini, a shiny squirtle and a shiny eevee.

I am Glad for most of this. I been able to get most of my stuff altogether but sad thing is this: Pokemon Go has more pokemon that I can't even get off it to any pokemon games. The only game that is able to do any move it to is Let's Go Eevee and Pikacku. Any other Pokemon that still above the 1 - 151 can't move them at all. SO when will Pokemon Home Take in Pokemon Go?

The problem I have with this is it coincides with the decision to stop having all pokemon return to games, so now I have to pay for a feature that was previously free, but I get less functionality than the free version had.

With the closure of the eShop next month, only people who are prepared and had the opportunity to be prepared will be able to transfer Pokmon from Generation V, VI, or VII to newer games. New players who want to revisit old games may never be able to do this. But not just any pokemon. I want as many ribbons as possible, so it needs to be able to exist in every game. I also want something iconic. My choice was obvious; Pikachu. Not any Pikachu either, an iconic one. I want it from Viridian Forest, Kanto.

While the costume event Pokmon have become very popular with fans, it is unlikely that they will be added as transferrable any time soon to Pokmon Home, as this would require adding them to any games that could link up with the transfer system. Other Event Pokmon, like the Clones of Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur, and Pikachu, as well as Armored Mewtwo, have only ever appeared in Pokmon GO and are not likely to be made available in games like Sword and Shield.
