Some fun crafts we do throughout the summer are tie-dye, water gun painting, popsicle stick picture frames (for camp photos), and bead pets.
As a teacher, I always like to incorporate STEM activities, such as making rock candy, spaghetti noodle towers, cardboard boats, Oobleck and/or slime (don't worry- slime will "magically disappear" before it is time to go home!), homemade playdough, etc. Special guests can include local artists, musicians, crafters, fire fighters, athletes, and even an animal shelter.
