Camp MD/Dr. Camp registration is closed. Please check back again in the summer of 2021.
Camp MD (high school) and Dr. Camp (middle school) are a half day summer camps organized by medical students at the IU School of Medicine-Terre Haute campus with the help of West Central Indiana-Area Health Education Center. Our goal is to inspire and educate high school and middle school students about careers in medicine through an interactive and hands-on experience.
This year's theme for Camp MD/Dr. Camp is "Cardio". Students will learn about the cardiovascular system, why our heart is a vital organ, and how to use a stethoscope. Camp sessions will also include a panel of medical students for camp participants to ask questions about pursuing a career in medicine.
Camp MD/Dr. Camp 2020 will consist of four camp sessions; two dedicated to Camp MD (high school) and two dedicated to Dr. Camp (middle school) . Please see the schedule to determine which camp time works best for you. Each camp will be capped at 24 students; sign up soon as these spots will fill quickly. Sign up here
