Welcome to Camp IGNITE: A three day leadership and entrepreneur camp to prepare rising 7th, 8th, and 9th graders with necessary career skills, soft skills, and leadership techniques to effectively navigate the workforce and build useful high school habits.
Students will get to watch two presenters, each having six minutes to share their company's story or address a specific problem, followed by a 20-minute Q&A session for feedback and advice.

A CORE class with instruction on collaboration, communication, and intrapersonal skills to level up your social skills
Conflict Management (Soft Skills 2) -
One of the most dangerous problems in any system: Internal conflict. Learn how to lead without taking control, validate and still disagree, and find compromises that value everyone's opinion. All of this using case studies to prepare you for practical, real life scenarios.
Public speaking/Presentation skills (Soft Skills 3)
Introduce topics of public speaking such as body language, audience interaction, presentation designing, tone, and pace

Managing High School Workload (High School Prep 1) -
A guide on how to challenge yourself through high school without burning out or wasting potential. (Atomic Habits) Can include stress reduction strategies, planning advice, or how to test/know you academic limits.
From Learning to Remembering (High School Prep 2) -
Basically the make it stick book, we introduce topics of retaining information through the different methods we learned in the book
High School-College Pathway (High School Prep 3) -
A guide on how to maximize your impressiveness to colleges through opportunities at MHS (AP classes, clubs, etc.) Can include a road map of recommended things to do every year.

Starting a business - Entrepreneurship 1
Students will be introduced to the basic concepts of starting a business. How to find a passionate idea, obtainable goals, and materials for a business concept.
Working out Budgeting and Logistics, communication - Entrepreneurship 2
Students will build upon the previous business concepts and learn how to grow it. Develop communication skills to expand clientele, while also budget time/resources to grow.
Execution and Marketing - Entrepreneurship day 3
Students will be introduced to various marketing techniques. By the end of course students will have developed a unique, profitable, and passionate business concept that impacts the community in a postive way.
