Barbers Point Elementary promotes academic excellence, physical education and fine arts. Students are given opportunities to participate in many enriching school-wide activities such as Math Day, President’s Day Parade, Art Day and May Day. Barbers Point Elementary has been accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges since 1987.

James Campbell High School offers five career academies intended to provide career focused supports for all students. They are Business, Agriculture Science & IB, Creative Media, Health Services, Public and Human Services and STEAM. The five career academies service grades 10-12. The Freshmen Academy provides transitional assistance during that pivotal time of adolescent growth. The Naval JROTC Program is an award-winning, nationally-recognized program that has been named a Distinguished Unit with Honors for the seventh year in a row. Since 2007, the model AVID program has maintained its National Demonstration School status indicating stellar achievement in meeting program criterion. Over the past two years JCHS is recognized as an AVID School-wide Site of Distinction. JCHS offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program as well as a host of Advanced Placement courses and Early College Credits through dual enrollment programs. The school operates on a 4X4 block schedule, which allows for flexibility in scheduling and increases the number of credits that students can earn each year. Fuel Education and DOE eSchool courses are available in all content areas and Twilight School is another option for those in need of an early evening program. At JCHS, we also offer numerous foreign languages such as Hawaiian, Japanese, French and Spanish.

Ewa Beach Elementary practices inclusion of special needs and English language learners in regular education classes. The school provides Safety Nets (in school and after school tutoring) for students who may need additional assistance. Ewa Beach Elementary was selected as a Hawaii Distinguished School in 2003, 2004, 2007, 2009, and 2010. It was one of three Hawaii Blue Ribbon Schools for 2009 and a National Blue Ribbon School for 2010​.

The Ewa Core Values are: Kaizen (Continuous improvement); Kina‘ole (Doing the right thing, in the right way, at the right time, in the right place, to the right person, for the right reason with the right feeling, the first time.); and Komunidad (Community). Our students live the values of Kina‘ole, Kaizen and Komunidad to be ethical people, effective learners and to contribute to their community. Ewa School supports well-rounded education beyond reading and math that includes computer science, robotics, sports, service clubs and student academic competitions, presentations and performances. To be well-equipped with 21st Century skills, students utilize one-to-one electronic devices within their daily instruction.

Ewa Makai Middle staff is focused on student engagement, classroom climate, teacher clarity, and quality of teaching as perceived by students. Differentiation and inclusive practices are a priority and allow all students to access their academics with strategic supports and multiple learning strategies. Our school has a strong academic core program, thriving arts program, developing STEAM programs, and a progressive athletics program. The school implements standards-based instruction in all content areas focusing on literacy and numeracy. School initiatives include AVID, Visible Learning, Coveys 7 Habits, Google Classroom, Grade Level Teaming, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), and Naviance. Students are challenged with rigorous courses of study and social skills that prepare them for high school and college/career readiness. Co-curricular programs include robotics, sports, science fair, history day, MathCounts, media production, student leadership, theatre, design team, culinary, artist competitions, and AVID Ambassadors. EMMS creates a student-centered culture with an importance on student voice and choice.

Ho'okele Elementary is the newest elementary school in the Kapolei Complex area and opened to students on July 29, 2015. Ho‘okele means Navigator. The name of this “high tech” elementary school was selected for its meaning in relation to the 21st century; the students of Ho‘okele must learn to successfully navigate in an ever-changing world. The skills our students will need to excel in are collaboration, communication, creativity and critical thinking/problem solving. The 21st-century school environment is equipped with wireless connectivity throughout the campus and designed to accommodate mobile indoor and outdoor learning. The school is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) silver certified school. It met the building certification program in the five key areas of energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, materials selection, sustainable site development and water savings. Ho‘okele Elementary School is comprised of students and teachers formerly from many different schools. To build a cohesive collaborative community and positive culture, the Tribes Learning Communities process was selected to assist the school in attaining this goal. The Tribes Learning Communities process will help students flourish in a safe, caring environment to gain the knowledge, skills and resiliency to be successful in an ever-changing world.

Holomua Elementary is committed to providing a positive and safe learning climate in which all students can reach their fullest potential in academics, attitudes, health and the arts. Technology is an integral part of curriculum, evidenced by classes equipped with computers and additional mobile/classroom labs on a local area network. Holomua Elementary builds healthy family and community networks by hosting activities such as Ohana Fair, Tech Fun Run, Career Day and numerous parent workshop throughout the year. The school also grows strong partnerships with various businesses, as well as with the University of Hawaii - Manoa, University of Hawaii - West Oahu, Chaminade University, Hawaii Pacific University, and Leeward Community College. A School Community Council ensures that all stakeholders, including community members and students, have input in the school's improvement efforts. Holomua completed their 6-year accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). Because of its large enrollment, Holomua is a multitrack school and runs on a special calendar.

Ilima Intermediate offers a wide variety of programs and support services to address the needs early adolescents. Students are placed into one of three smaller learning teams during their seventh grade year. Students and teachers loop together from Grades 7 to 8. Team teachers develop supports for students through focused professional development for all content areas, regular team meetings and Focus on Learning (FOL) committee meetings geared towards continuous school improvement. Ilima Intermediate continues to develop and refine a rigorous standards-based curriculum while implementing several schoolwide strategies. Teachers receive ongoing professional development and meet twice monthly in data teams to analyze student progress and adjust instructional practices. Ilima Intermediate is committed to ongoing school improvement and it embraces the challenging opportunity to prepare students for college and careers. Currently, the focus of School-Year 2017-2018 is geared towards: 1) refining the process of Data Teams, 2) building coherence using our multi-tiered systems of support via RtI, and 3) “Ilimafying” John Hattie’s Visible Learning research using the concepts of Mindframes and the Learning Intentions and Success Criteria (LISC). As Ilima continues to work towards improved learning outcomes for our students, the entire school community will continue to model the Growth Mindset. #IlimaWay

Iroquois Point Elementary became an authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in April 2011. The school offers the Primary Years Program of the International Baccalaureate Organization. Iroquois Point Elementary believes learning is best done when it is authentic, relevant to the “real” world; and transdisciplinary – where the learning is not confined within the boundaries of traditional subject areas but is supported and enriched by them. Following this IB framework helps to ensure learning is engaging, relevant, challenging and significant. The curriculum framework emphasizes an inquiry-based approach to learning, and computers are available in every classroom.The school offers Spanish, music, band, and physical education programs. Athletic activities are designed to teach fundamental concepts like teamwork and fair play. Intramurals include basketball, track, volleyball and flag football. Kaimiloa Elementary is committed to high-quality professional development and technical assistance for teachers to use best practices based on research. Professional Learning Communities are focused on regular monitoring of assessment data, analysis of student work and subsequent adjustments made to teachers’ instruction. Weekly learning team sessions held across grade levels focus on developing teachers’ understanding of content standards, designing common assessments to measure students’ progress and in-depth analysis of student work to inform instruction. Teachers practice self-reflection and set goals for improving their teaching strategies.Kaimiloa provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety activities and programs such as Yearbook, Track, Basketball and Video classes offered during after school Cougar Academies. Afterschool tutoring is provided for students needing assistance in reading and math.

Kapolei Elementary is committed to equal opportunity for all children in an environment in which staff, parents, students and the community share responsibility and collaborate to shape the school's direction. The school focuses on data analysis to assess student progress and plan classroom and schoolwide initiatives. Students participate in a Character Counts education program to learn lessons on trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. A number of professional development sessions are provided to educators to promote teaching effectiveness and high student achievement.​

At Kapolei High, personalized learning takes place in small communities of teachers and students where there is a shared sense of purpose and opportunities to explore individual interests. The school uses project-based learning as the foundation of an academically rigorous curriculum that integrates complex real world issues relevant to students and the community. The school prepares students for multiple post-secondary options, including education at universities, community colleges, and trade schools, and success in the workforce. The curriculum builds community through partnerships that support learning, parent engagement and service learning. Volunteers from local businesses and organizations serve as mentors and advisors for students and teachers. The school provides extracurricular activities ranging from culture and nationally-affiliated clubs, drama/music and athletic participation in teams. The athletic department is a member of the Oahu Interscholastic Association. The school also has a “Naval Honor” recognized Marine Corps JROTC program.

Kapolei Middle's mission is to assure the social and academic growth of all students so they may succeed in high school and beyond. Students are grouped into teacher teams in language arts, math, science, social studies, special education and elective courses to promote stronger relationships. Core team teachers and their special education teacher share a common planning period to coordinate a rigorous standards-based instructional program. Counselors and vice-principals follow their students as they progress through the grade levels. The school's exploratory classes provide students with experiences in life skills and career paths. A wide range of elective classes such as language, physical education, fine arts, performing arts, engineering, and technology are offered to all students. Kapolei Middle is a multitrack school and runs on a special calendar.

Keoneula Elementary has implemented the Advancement Via Individual Determination program for grades 4, 5 and 6. Achieve 3000, an online language arts program, is used for grades 3, 4, 5 and 6.The school is teaching the Common Core State Standards to prepare students for success in college and careers. Parent workshops are held quarterly to discuss language arts, science, mathematics, and safety and welfare.Keoneula has launched an Outdoor Learning Center with a native Hawaiian garden, pipeline worm bin and aquaponics system to support STEM activities and lessons. The faculty and staff at Makakilo Elementary are committed to providing a quality standards-based education, with a focus on reading, math and writing. The school uses Data Teams to monitor student progress and ensure every child is making growth. Data guides interventions and adjustments to instructions to meet the needs of all students. Makakilo Elementary enjoys strong community/business partnerships and has an active School Community Council, Parent Teacher Student Organization and Parent Community Networking Coordinator.

Mauka Lani Elementary emphasizes the importance of literacy and numeracy with a strong focus on thinking and problem-solving skills. An active Student Council and Junior Police Officer program provide leadership roles as students plan and implement various student activities. Students participate in robotics, hula and intramurals (track meet and basketball tournaments), as well as in an annual May Day program. Mauka Lani enjoys strong support from parents, business and a dedicated faculty and staff. The school provides opportunities for students to become active, healthy, creative, independent learners and thinkers.

Pohakea Elementary has a comprehensive school reform program focused on early reading intervention. A daily tutoring program is also provided for selected students in grades 1-3 as part of the Success for All model. Teachers deliver engaging, relevant lessons that demand higher level thinking skills. A rigorous, standards-based curriculum in mathematics focuses on both mastery of basic mathematical skills and conceptual understandings. For writing, teachers provide integrated writing lessons and monitor student progress through reviewing, analyzing, and scoring student work. Data Analysis continues to drive instruction and decision making for programming purposes. The Community Council was established in 2005 and continues to be an integral part of reaching Pohakea Elementary's vision.

Campbell-Kapolei School Support Center strives to support our schools to help build capacity, develop teacher leaders, maintain standards-based curriculum with aligned assessments and best practices. We work to empower teachers to support all students with promoting reflection and a growth mindset. Our vision is that all Campbell-Kapolei students are engaged in a rigorous and relevant standards based curriculum through a variety of strategies and resources to develop the whole child for success as a contributing citizen in the 21st century.
