There are a few rules that have to be followed at camp.
The first is the buddy system. Each girl must have one buddy at all times. Groups of four are also needed when walking around camp alone. Young scouts typically have adults with them so this is mostly for Juniors and above.
Swim testing
If you choose to go to the pool when it is open, there is a mandatory test that needs to be passed to go past the 4ft depth. The test is more difficult the deeper the pool is. With super young scouts, you probably don't need to worry about the test and just stay in the shallow area.
Clothing
Everyone must wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. Over-the-ankle socks must be worn at all times, unless at the pool. Tennis shoes without socks can be worn while boating. Going barefoot outside the fenced area of the swimming pool is not permitted.
