Trainee Physical Education Teacher @ Exchange Teacher Training
I am Cameron Richardson, I am studying to become a Physical Education (PE) Teacher, My background in Sports is vast. I have been immersed in sports from a young age, starting my journey at 7 years old with a diverse background in Triathlon, Football, Rugby Union, and Athletics. My lifelong passion for coaching and supporting athletes has shaped my career and educational pursuits.
I hold a BSc in Sports and Rehabilitation (2022) and an MSc in Sports & Exercise (2023) from Newcastle College University Centre (NCUC). These qualifications, combined with hands-on experience, have equipped me with the knowledge and skills to foster athletic development and provide effective rehabilitation.
My coaching experience spans several sports and roles. I have been privileged to be part of coaching teams in both Football and Rugby Union, where I contributed to training and player development. My notable placements include working with Blaydon Rugby Club's Colt side as both a coach and physiotherapist since 2020 and at Park View Academy of Sport, where I was integral to the medical team for over two years. During my time there, I also provided one-on-one coaching to student-athletes, helping them achieve their personal and athletic goals.
Currently, I continue to play Rugby at a competitive level with Blaydon RFC's 2nd Team, where I take on multiple positions as a Hooker, Lock, and Back Row. My ongoing involvement in rugby, both as a player and a coach, keeps me deeply connected to the sport and its evolving dynamics.
