Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address via Google Firebase Authentication. This is used to identify you and sync your data across devices.
Equipment Data: Details about your photography gear, kits, and calendar events that you manually enter or scan are stored in Google Firebase Firestore.
Images: When you use the AI Invoice Scanner, we access your camera or photo library. These images are processed to extract text.
We use the collected data to:
Maintain and sync your gear inventory.
Provide smart maintenance reminders and warranty tracking.
Process invoices using AI technology (Groq API) to automate data entry.
Improve the App's functionality and user experience.
We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate our app:
Google Firebase: Used for user authentication and secure cloud data storage. Your data is stored on Google's secure servers.
Groq API: Used for AI-powered data extraction from invoice images. Images sent to Groq are processed for text recognition and are not permanently stored by us.
Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and potential future payment processing.
CameraFort requires your explicit permission to access the camera or gallery. This access is only used when you choose to scan an invoice or upload a document. We do not collect or browse your private photos without your action.
We implement industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your data is stored for as long as you have an active account.
You can delete individual equipment items at any time within the app.
Account Deletion: If you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated data, you can contact us at the email provided below, or use the account deletion feature (if available) within the App.
CameraFort is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
