User-Generated Content: You are solely responsible for the meme content you create and share using CaMeme. Do not use the App to create or distribute content that is defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringes on any third-party intellectual property rights.

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to CaMeme. By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not install or use the App.

These Terms govern your use of the App, which is developed and owned by Cloud Spirit Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us").

2. Permitted Use

You may use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes. You agree not to:

Modify, disassemble, decompile, or reverse engineer any part of the App.
Rent, lease, sublicense, sell, or distribute the App.
Use the App to create content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, harassing, or infringes on any third-party rights.
Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or in violation of local laws.
Redistribute, resell, or claim ownership of the bundled meme template assets.

3. Meme Templates & Third-Party Content

CaMeme includes bundled meme template images and GIFs. These templates are provided for personal, non-commercial use within the App. While many internet memes are considered fair use or are in the public domain, some may incorporate elements subject to third-party copyrights or trademarks.

Your Responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring that your use of meme content complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws in your jurisdiction.
User-Imported Templates: You may import your own images as custom templates. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use any imported content.
DMCA / Takedown Requests: If you believe any content in the App infringes your copyright, please contact us at support@cloudspirit.co.uk with details, and we will promptly address the issue.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

CaMeme offers optional auto-renewable subscription plans to unlock Premium features. A subscription is not required to use the App.

4.1 Free vs Premium

Free Features: All meme templates (static PNG and animated GIF), text overlays, photo capture, video recording, and background removal are available to all users for free. Free users will see full-screen ads after their first meme capture, and a "Cameme" watermark is applied to saved photos/videos. Importing custom images requires watching a short rewarded ad.
Premium Features: Removes all advertisements (full-screen and rewarded), removes the Cameme watermark from all captured media, and allows unlimited image imports without ads.

4.2 Pricing

Monthly Plan: USD $1.99 per month (or local equivalent).
Yearly Plan: USD $9.99 per year (or local equivalent), saving approximately 58% compared to the monthly plan.

Prices are set in the respective app stores and may vary by region due to local taxes, currency conversion, and store pricing tiers.

4.3 Billing & Payment Processing

All payments are processed exclusively through Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). Cloud Spirit Ltd. does not directly collect, store, or process any payment information, including credit card numbers, bank details, or billing addresses. Your payment relationship is with Google or Apple, subject to their respective terms of service.

4.4 Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same rate.

4.5 Managing & Cancelling Subscriptions

Android: Go to Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → CaMeme → Cancel subscription.
iOS: Go to Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → CaMeme → Cancel Subscription.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain Premium access until then. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel your subscription.

4.6 Refunds

All refund requests are handled by the respective app store. Cloud Spirit Ltd. cannot process refunds directly. Please contact Google Play Support or Apple Support for refund assistance.

5. On-Device Processing

All photo and video processing, including meme compositing, text overlay rendering, background removal (via on-device AI), and video encoding, happens entirely on your device. We do not process your media on remote servers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CLOUD SPIRIT LTD. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR USE, INCURRED BY YOU, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT OR TORT, ARISING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE APP.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including all UI design, logos, source code, compositing algorithms, and localizations, is the exclusive property of Cloud Spirit Ltd. and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.
