On-Device & Private: CaMeme processes all photos and videos entirely on your device. We do not upload, store, or have access to any images or videos you create with the app.

Welcome to CaMeme ("we," "our," or "us"), developed by Cloud Spirit Ltd. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

On-Device Processing

A. Photos, Videos & Meme Content

CaMeme captures photos and records videos using your device's camera, composites meme overlays and text onto them, and saves the results to your device's photo gallery. All image and video processing happens entirely on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or store any of your photos, videos, or meme creations on remote servers.

B. Device Permissions

The App requires the following device permissions to function:

Camera: To provide the live camera preview and capture photos/videos.
Microphone: To record audio during video capture.
Photo Library / Storage: To save captured photos and videos to your gallery, and to import custom meme templates from your device.

These permissions are used solely for the features described above. We do not access your camera, microphone, or photo library for any other purpose.

Third-Party SDKs

C. Automatically Collected Information

Depending on your subscription status, the App may integrate third-party services that automatically collect technical data:

Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): If you use the free version of CaMeme, Google's AdMob SDK displays advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID or iOS IDFA), IP addresses, and diagnostic info to personalize ads, verify delivery, and perform analytics. Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): We use Google's UMP SDK to collect your consent preferences for personalized advertising in compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy regulations.
App Stores (Google Play / Apple App Store): When purchasing premium subscriptions, transactions are processed directly by Google Play or Apple App Store. We do not collect or store your billing credentials, bank details, or credit card numbers.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above solely to:

Provide core app functionality (camera, meme compositing, video recording).
Display ads to free-tier users (via AdMob).
Process subscription purchases (via App Store / Google Play).
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

4. Subscription Features & Ad Removal

We offer Monthly and Yearly subscription options ("Premium Plan"). When subscribed:

Google AdMob SDK is bypassed and all ads are completely removed.
The CaMeme watermark is removed from captured photos and videos.

All meme templates (static and animated) are available to all users for free.

5. Data Retention

Since CaMeme does not collect or store your personal content on remote servers, there is no user data to retain on our end. Photos and videos remain on your device until you choose to delete them. Uninstalling the App removes the app's local cache and preferences.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except as described in Section 2C (third-party SDKs required for app functionality).

7. Children's Privacy

CaMeme is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the updated policy within the App or on our official store listings. You are advised to review this page periodically.
