You can double the fun at POKéPARK by bringing a Nintendo DS. You'll be able to download a mini-game. POKéPARK Fishing Contest DS is a simple game of catching Pokémon using the + Control Pad and the A Button. By "sending" the data on the Pokémon you caught, you will be able to compete for points with other players in the park!
For details, check out the POKéPARK Fishing Contest DS handout in the park.
Since the POKéPARK Fishing Contest DS will also be held on the event stage, you can still play even if you don't bring a Nintendo DS. This will be your chance to catch big Pokémon and win prizes.

How to download Poke Park Fishing Tournament DS
1）スタートボタンを押しながら本体の電源を入れてください。左のような画面が表示されます。（DS体の設定でオートモードにしていない場合は、スタートを押さなくても表示されます。） 「DSダウンロードプレイ」をタッチして下さい。ソフト選択画面が表示されます。
1) Turn on the power of the main unit while pressing the start button. A screen like the one on the left will appear. (It will be displayed even if you do not press Start if you have not set it to the auto mode in the setting of DS body.) Touch "DS download play". The soft selection screen is displayed.
2）表示されたソフトの中から「ポケパークつりたいかいDS」を選んでタッチしてください。ダウンロードするソフトの確認をする画面が表示されます。
※画面に「ポケパークつりたいかいDS」 がいくつか表示されることもありますが、その場合はどれを選んでも同じです。

1）十字ボタンで「つりにいく」を選び、Ａボタンを押してください。すると左の写真のような全体マップが表示され、その後「つりば」の画面に移動します。

2）「つりざお」は左右に動くので、「つりざお」が上画面の「ポケモンのかげ」の方向に向いた時に、Ａボタンを押して「つりざお」をふり下ろして下さい。「モンスターボール」と「うき」をその方向に投げます。

3）ポケモンが近寄ると、「うき」が上下にゆれ始めます。左の写真のように完全に「うき」がしずんだら、Aボタンを押して「つりざお」を引き上げて下さい。成功すると画面上に「Aボタンれんだ！！」と表示されるので、そのとおりにAボタンをれんだして下さい。

これは電源を切ると再度ダウンロードが必要になりますから、一旦ゲームをやめたい人は、本体を閉じてスリープモードにするのを忘れないようにしましょう。
