Date: Friday, September 26, 2025  THIS YEAR, RACE DAY IS FRIDAY!

Race Start Time:  For our athletes, first runners start at 1:15 pm (See official website for lots of details!)

Location: Blue Lake Regional Park -- 21224 NE Marine Dr, Fairview, OR 97024 

Transportation: Buses will transport all runners from CHS to race location and back to CHS 

Itinerary:

• 11 am: Dismissal from school

• 11:15 am: Buses depart

• 12 pm: Buses arrive at race location

• 1:15: Races begin

• ~5:45 pm: Buses depart race location

• ~6:30 pm: Buses arrive back at CHS at approximately

What to Bring:

Runners should bring uniform, racing flats, spikes, water bottle, money for extra food and race shirts, and clothing appropriate for the weather.

• 1:15 – Novice 3000 Girls (slower than 30 min)

• 1:35 – Novice 3000 Boys (slower than 25 min)

• 1:55 – Freshman/Sophomore Girls

• 2:25 – Freshman/Sophomore Boys

• 2:50 – Junior/Senior Girls

• 3:20 – Junior/Senior Boys

• 3:45 – Division 1 Girls

• 4:10 – Division 1 Boys

• 4:30 – Danner Girls

• 4:55 – Danner Boys

Families/Friends Pointers*:

• Parking: There is a $5 charge to enter the park. Cash/card accepted. Be sure to provide enough time to park. Often there is a long line and will take an extra 20-30 minutes to enter the park and find a spot.

• Where to View: This is a great course for seeing your runner multiple times. The start and finish are in close proximity and with runners making 3 loops (for the 5K), you can stay close-in to watch. Be mindful of where you cross the course and look both ways for runners. This type of race will have about 100+ runners start at a large start line, then funnel into the narrower course.

*A note for friends/families: Please remember that the safety of our runners, and you, is a priority! Be cautious when finding a spot to view the race. Stay off the course and stay out of the way as these runners will not stop for you!
