For over 30 years, Lemoore has been my home, and both of my children graduated from LUESD schools and Lemoore High School. I was a middle school science teacher for nine years, where I also supervised clubs and coached academic and athletic teams. I led district committees for curriculum and textbook adoption. In my twenty years as an administrator, I served as the SARB, Saturday School, and testing coordinator. I led University Charter School from its inception, managing personnel, budgets, professional development, and the Charter Council. Under my leadership, UCS earned the California Distinguished School award in 2013. I have seen all sides of a school district's operations, and I continue to attend monthly school board meetings. My guiding principle is simple: every student deserves the opportunity to reach their greatest potential, regardless of their background. As a board member, I will use data to guide decisions, while never losing sight of the fact that students and families are people, not numbers. I will hold the district accountable to maintain fiscal responsibility. I'm running for school board because Lemoore's students deserve a leader who has spent a career proving that commitment.
