The findings of the project were presented in a session on project-based thematic research at the 13th Spring Research Conference of the Japan Society of Mathematical Education (JSME), held at Iwate University, Japan.

April 2025 – Grants-in-Aid for Scientific Research, KAKENHI (Japan)

The project officially re-began with a research grant from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS KAKENHI), marking the start of full-scale research activities under the titled 'Theoretical and empirical research on the linguistic and cultural characteristics of argumentation through international comparison of mathematics classrooms'

February 2025 – CERME14 Conference Presentation (Bolzano, Italy)

The findings of the project were presented at the 14th CERME conference, held in Bolzano, Italy.

March 2025 – International Symposium (University of Bremen, Germany)

An international symposium "“YOU WANT PROOF. I’LL GIVE YOU PROOF.” – MATHEMATICAL, EDUCATIONAL, & CULTURAL PERSPECTIVES" was held at the University of Bremen, Germany.

March 2023 – International Symposium and Public Lecture (Waseda University, Japan)

An international symposium "Argumentation and Proof in Mathematics Education from Cultural and Linguistic Perspectives" was held at Waseda University, Tokyo, inviting researchers and educators from Japan and abroad, and there was also a public lecture by Christine Knipping and Fiene Bredow on "Argumentation in Mathematics Education Research, 1980-2020: An Overview".

July 2023 – CERME13 Conference Presentation (Budapest, Hungary)

The project team presented at the 13th CERME conference, held in Budapest, Hungary.

September 2023 – Annual Conference of JSSE (Ehime University, Japan)

A project-based thematic research session was presented at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Science Education (JSSE), held at Ehime University, Japan.
