Calvin Tan, better known and referred to as "Calvin Klein" or "Calvin Musk" as his monikers is an aspiring entrepreneur, environmentalist, and student at the Calgary Board of Education. In keeping with his motto of "education is the key to unlocking a potential beyond the stars to tackle our world's biggest problems", Calvin seeks to use the power of education to try to seek change in his life. He communicates and talks about the biggest issues threatening our and the well-being of our planet both face-to-face and via social media.

Having made several appearances on Canadian news sources, social media, and government accounts, Calvin is known for his knowledge of current events. He has worked alongside various institutions such as the University of Calgary, and schools across the Calgary Board of Education to gain new perspectives on the problems of our world, to hopefully gain insight into the possible solutions there may be. He is a trusted source of information, and many people look up to his presentations and ideas as a role model.

Calvin hated traditional worksheets. He saw that his classmates were suffering mentally from the workload given, and the lack of regard for students' mental well-being in schools across Canada. They were mentally drained and saw that the education system has only defined one meaning of success; to get a good education, and to get a good career. Calvin saw this and took the initiative to try to empower change and to try to better represent our students.

Being the founder of Calvin Industries and CalvinX Corporation, he is an aspiring entrepreneur. Fed up with the typical 9-5 office job, Calvin decided to embark on his adventure and his path to success. He founded Calvin Industries back in 2020 alongside various others in his campaign to use the power of education to further empower our future generations and to hopefully inspire change. Calvin has reached over 500+ people from various backgrounds in academic settings, political settings, and professional settings in his mission to make a lasting difference.

In 2022, Calvin began CalvinX Corporation, an organization devoted to aeronautics and space research. In 2023, Calvin began The Calvin Party, an organization seeking to represent the interests and needs of our students in academic settings that may be under-represented. He also found CalvinAI, an organization aiming to address the long-term complications of AI technology, and how it can have implications on our education system.
