By accessing or using Calowise, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
Description of Service
Calowise is an AI-powered food scanner and nutrition tracking application that provides:
AI food identification from photos
Barcode scanning for packaged foods
Calorie and macronutrient tracking
Personalized meal plans and recipe suggestions
AI nutrition chat assistant
BMI calculation and weight tracking
Water intake tracking
Progress analytics and daily breakdowns
Apple Health integration
Data export capabilities
Subscriptions and Billing
3.1 Free and Premium Features Calowise offers both free and premium features. Certain features require an active premium subscription.
3.2 Subscription Plans
Weekly Premium: $6.99/week (includes a 3-day free trial)
Annual Plan: $39.99/year
3.3 Payment and Renewal
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Free trial periods, if offered, will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends.
3.4 Managing Subscriptions You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings or the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Provide accurate personal information (age, weight, height, etc.) for proper calorie calculations
Use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only
Not attempt to reverse-engineer, modify, or tamper with the App
Not use the App to transmit harmful, offensive, or illegal content
Not use automated systems or bots to access the App

IMPORTANT: Calowise is designed for informational and educational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
AI-generated nutrition data, calorie estimates, and meal plans are approximations and may not be 100% accurate.
Always consult a qualified healthcare professional or registered dietitian before making significant changes to your diet.
Do not rely solely on the App for managing medical conditions, food allergies, or dietary restrictions.
We are not responsible for any health consequences resulting from following the App's suggestions.
Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to design, text, graphics, logos, icons, and software — are owned by Calowise and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy (https://sites.google.com/view/calowise-privacy). By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe upon the rights of others
Distribute malware or harmful code
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Collect user data without authorization
Use the service for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
Termination

Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI food identification, calorie calculations, or nutrition data.
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted within the App or on our website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
