• Photos: Images you capture or upload for AI food identification. Photos are processed for food recognition and are not stored on our servers permanently.

• Health Goals: Weight goals, dietary preferences, and wellness objectives you set within the App.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: Features used, session duration, and interaction patterns to improve the App experience.

• Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and optimization.

• Analytics Data: Anonymized data collected through Firebase Analytics to understand usage trends.

1.3 Health Data

• Apple HealthKit: With your explicit permission, we may read and write nutrition and activity data to Apple Health. HealthKit data is never used for advertising or shared with third parties.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide AI-powered food identification and nutrition analysis

• Calculate and track your daily calorie and macronutrient intake

• Generate personalized meal plans and recipe suggestions

5. HealthKit Data

If you choose to integrate with Apple HealthKit:

• We only access the specific data types you authorize.

• HealthKit data is never used for advertising, marketing, or data mining.

• HealthKit data is never shared with third parties.

• HealthKit data is stored only on your device and in your iCloud (managed by Apple).

6. Children's Privacy

Calowise is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.

7. Subscriptions

Calowise offers auto-renewing subscriptions:

• Weekly Premium: $6.99/week (with 3-day free trial)

• Annual Plan: $39.99/year

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID and can be canceled via your App Store account settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you

• Request deletion of your data by contacting us

• Opt out of analytics data collection through device settings

• Revoke HealthKit permissions at any time through iOS Settings

• Cancel your subscription at any time

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
