CalorieClick.ai (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and protect your information when you use the CalorieClick.ai mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Information

If you create an account, we may collect:

• Apple Sign-In identifier (if using Sign in with Apple)
  
  

We do not collect passwords when using Sign in with Apple.

B. Food Images & Nutrition Data

When you scan a meal:

We temporarily process:

• The food image you upload
  
  

• Image metadata required for processing
  
  

• Detected food items
  
  

• Nutrition goals (calories/macros)
  
  

• Coaching preferences
  
  

Food images are transmitted securely for AI analysis and are not used for advertising.

Images are not shared with other users.

C. Barcode Scans

When you scan a barcode:

• The barcode number is used to retrieve product nutrition information from external nutrition databases.
  
  

D. Usage & Diagnostics Data

We collect limited technical data such as:

This data is used only for performance improvement and debugging.

E. Subscription Information

Payments are processed by:

• Apple App Store
  
  

• RevenueCat (subscription infrastructure)
  
  

We do not store credit card information.

2. AI Processing Disclosure

CalorieClick.ai uses secure third-party AI providers to analyze food images and generate nutrition and coaching insights.

Current AI Providers:

• Google Gemini API (Google LLC)
  
  

The following data may be transmitted to AI providers:

• Food images uploaded by the user
  
  

• Extracted nutrition data
  
  

• User goals (calories/macros)
  
  

• Coaching preferences (tone/style)
  
  

We do NOT send:

• Advertising identifiers
  
  

• Contact lists
  
  

• Location tracking data
  
  

• Payment data
  
  

AI providers process data solely to generate scan results and coaching insights.

We do not sell user data.

AI providers are contractually required to provide equal or stronger data protection standards and do not use CalorieClick.ai user data for advertising purposes.

Users are asked for explicit consent before AI processing begins and may withdraw consent at any time within the app.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use data to:

• Provide calorie and nutrition estimates

• Generate AI-based coaching insights
  
  

• Improve scan accuracy and system reliability
  
  

• Enforce subscription limits

4. Data Storage

• Delete your entire account inside the app (Settings → Delete Account)

• Cancel subscriptions via Apple ID settings
  
  

Account deletion permanently removes associated personal data from our systems.

7. Children’s Privacy

CalorieClick.ai is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Updates will be reflected with a revised effective date.

9. Account Deletion
Open CalorieClick → Privacy & Account → Delete Account → confirm.
