The Rio Grande Division (Div 6) of the Rocky Mountain Region will hold its next meeting on Sunday, June 20th at 2:00 PM at the ASHOME storefront, located at 6001-N Lomas Blvd, NE, Albuquerque, at the north west corner of Lomas and San Pedro NE.
We enjoyed a short clinic in April, presented by Achievement Chairman, Brewster Bird, who intends to have a follow-up clinic in June. Thanks to The Rio Grande Valley Model Railroad Club at the Expo New Mexico State Fairgrounds for hosting that meeting.
Our Annual Rail-fanning day is scheduled for the second Sunday in July, the 12th along the BNSF Transcon, from Mountainaire to Grants and all tracks in between. NM RailRunner operations are also fair game for our rail fans. We will take a "Beans Break" and meet at 1:00 PM for lunch at Pete's Restaurant in Belen, NM, across from the old Harvey House, for food and conversation. Please mark your calendars for these two events.
