REGULAR PROGRAM
A short business meeting starts at 10:00 am, followed by two or three short clinics. In the afternoon, there is a railroad-related tour to an interesting location or an operating session on one of the club or home layouts.
SPECIAL EVENTS
The Sheridan Model Railroad Association holds an Open House for the Public on the Saturday before Thanksgiving in November. The Central Wyoming Model Railroad Association holds an Open House for the Public on the first Friday and Saturday in November. The CWMRA also has a display at the BLM Trail Center in Casper every Friday and Saturday in December except on a holiday.
The SMRA was not able to hold an open house this period because of site restriction. The CWMRA was able to hold an open house because of their more open layout space.
The Central Wyoming Model Railroad Association in Casper was able to present their Christmas Train Display in conjunction with the National Historic Trail Interpretive Center Christmas on the Prairie display.
Both Casper and Sheridan clubs have been open with masks and social distancing once a week. Operating sessions are the principal activity with maintenance and discussions when not enough crew attend.
