Spring has sprung and it sure is beautiful! It has never been more wonderful to see nature awaken with such beauty. It is a great time to get the camera out and take some photos. Actually been doing this for the last few weeks and have nice shots of canyons and runoff along with wildlife along the tracks.

During the last months, my layout has acquired several new buildings, some more cars, even a trestle. Added some detail to a scene of two. Basically just having fun with the hobby.

We have been to a few train shows, taking my 4 year old grandson, Ryker, and 9 year old grandaughter, Crystal, to the Spokane Valley show last March was really a lot of fun! Grandpa, I need this engine for my layout! I need this 'cause it's blue and I don't have a blue engine, so I need this one. That was my bragging rights for that whole weekend!

We as a region, have train shows coming up. Cheyenne mid-May should be a lot of fun and it coincides with the Region Convention to make it even more fun. I am getting excited just thinking about it, I'm ready! Hope to see you there, if not in Cheyenne, maybe at another show. I try and go to as many as I can.

Anyway, have fun with your family and friends, work on your layouts be safe and healthy. Until next time!
