Hello to everyone in the Rocky Mountain Region.  It is my privilege to serve you as your president for the next two years and I hope my efforts meet your expectations.  

I hope all of you will join me in thanking Gary Myers for his years of service and the strides forward we have made during his leadership. 

While much has been accomplished in the past four years there is more to do.  With all of us working together I am sure we can accomplish many things.  We are fortunate to have very good individuals on the new board and while most of us are new to the board and our positions, we are not strangers to the region and the work at hand.

One thing that always comes to my mind is that “Model Railroading is Fun”.  When we keep these words in front of us the work ahead becomes easier because the end result has to lead to FUN.

YES FOLKS, THERE ARE TWO “HOPPER” CARS

In the next few months while I am getting familiar with the business of the region I will also be busy trying to meet as many of you as I can.

It has always been my belief that while we are Division-centered, there is a greater good to be served by all when we work together and support our Divisions.  The vehicle for supporting our Divisions is the Region and we are here to aid you as you pursue your modeling activities and are having FUN.

I hope to do a little traveling about the Region over the next few years to as many divisions as possible to meet members and to better understand the needs of the different Divisions.
