Happy November to all our readers, and future contributors! 

And as this month is National Model Railroad Month, I'd like to ask that we all consider the future of our great hobby - which depends not only on the commitment of organizations like the NMRA, but equally on the contributions of individuals. Each one of this region's members has the potential for exposing people in their community to the many facets of model railroading. There's no better way to grow interest in potential model railroaders than by sharing your skills, your talent, and your enthusiasm for our hobby - and I hope you all consider using the Callboard as an outlet for that passion, with your articles, pictures, videos - you name it! 

A prime example of that sharing comes from our Region President, new Contest Chair, and D&RGW expert Gary Myers - you'll see many of his wonderful contributions in this Fall edition of the Callboard. 

Another regular contributor - Dick Hunter - has some great memories of the Region to share, too, in his 'History Corner'.
