Incoming call notification Android app [Call Flash]
Manual
table of contents
The app screen that has the "notification behavior" switch when you start the app is referred to as the "main screen."
Android smartphones are referred to as "devices" below.
The notification operations (blinking, vibration, messages) performed by this application are referred to as "notifications" below.
To distinguish from the "notifications" of this application, the notifications displayed by the Android system of the smartphone will be referred to as "Android notifications" below.
This is an explanation of the necessary settings and steps when starting the app for the first time.
1. Start the app, agree to the terms of use, and then grant the app the necessary permissions.
Follow the permission steps displayed to grant all permissions.
2. Next, tap the "Activate notifications" switch.
The Google Play subscription procedure screen will be displayed, so enter the required information and complete the procedure.
3. After completing the procedure, tap the "Activate notifications" switch again.
When asked "Do you want to turn on this switch?", tap "Yes".
4. The switch will turn on and an icon will appear in the status bar at the top of the screen.
5. This completes the initial setup.
When there is an incoming call, the LED will flash and a message will now be displayed for missed calls.
Then, change the settings to your liking, such as the blinking method and message display.
This switch is normally left on at all times. When this switch is on, the app's [Notification activation] will be activated. When this switch is off, notifications will not work.
When this switch is turned on, the app icon is displayed in the status bar at the top of the screen.
When turned off, an app icon with a diagonal line will appear at the top of the screen, and a system notification sound will play. It is also off when no icon is displayed at the top of the screen.
⚠️If you don't want the system notification sound to play when the main switch for "Activate notifications" is turned off, please press and hold the notification at the top of the screen and change the system settings to "Silent".
This is an explanation of the function that allows the app to notify you by notification (flashing, vibration, message) only when there is an incoming call from a registered phone number. To use this feature, please register your phone number on the registration screen.
[Notify only registered numbers] When the switch is off, all incoming calls will trigger notifications such as flashing LEDs and displaying messages.
[Notify only registered numbers] When the switch is on, only when the phone number is registered on the registration screen, [notifications] will be activated, such as blinking the LED or displaying a message.
[Display the registered name above the message] When the switch is off, the name will not be displayed on the message display.
[Display the registered name above the message] When the switch is on, the name will be displayed above the message display text.
About [Registration screen]
About the name input field
In the field labeled "Name, etc.", please enter your name, name, notes, etc. so that we can know what phone number it is. There is no problem if the name input field is blank or not entered. There is no problem even if you only enter your phone number.
About the phone number input field
There is basically no problem if you simply register the phone number that is displayed in your Android's missed or received call history.
⚠️The only characters that can be entered are the half-width numbers and symbols below.
0123456789, () , +, -
You can enter your phone number in any format you like.
Please enter it in a way that is easy to understand. The position and number of symbols are also free. There is no problem with any of the following.
07012345678, 070-1234-5678, (070)1234-5678, 07-012-345-678, (07)012-345-678
⚠️For the number to register, please enter the number that is displayed when receiving a call on your device, in the incoming call history, call history, missed notification, etc.
⚠️There are exceptions. For example, in the case of notation such as international number (+81).
When receiving a call from "+81-70-1234-5678", the display on the terminal may read "070-1234-5678". In this case, please register "070-1234-5678" on the registration screen. If you register as "+81-70-1234-5678", it will not work properly.
⚠️Please be sure to enter a number of 7 digits or more.
