What to Bring
Sam's Stuff to Bring - We will buy some stuff in bulk for people to use, sharing is caring (sunscreen etc)
We have all the archaeology supplies (like trowels, gloves, notebooks, etc) but if you have your favorite stuff bring it -- no worries. People bring their lunch, journals, their favorite trowel, and all kinds of stuff - snacks too! Although Roberts Market is very close -- a good place to walk to for lunch.
Covid is about being careful, we will follow all the rules for Foothill College.
Layers are important because you will shed layers over the course of the day as it gets hot
Boots, make sure they are worn in, sneaks, if you are in the creek then water shoes like Tevas.
We may see rain in April/May - so maybe rain gear. We will rarely give up on a day when there is weather. We will always find something to do.
Long sleeve shirts to wear in the sun and get wet. There is also poison oak nearby.
Hats, for scorching sun
Whatever work-wear you want. Baggy loose-fitting trekking pants are ideal. Nothing is required, but let me repeat poison oak is a real hazard here.
Work gloves: light-weight, washable and rubberised garden gloves are ideal. Again, we can get them here if needs be. Poison oak!
Sun-screen we should also have reserves in the First Aid boxes.
A water bottle, a light rucksack, and a lunch box.
