Lions Youth Introductory Leadership

NOTICE: Unfortunately this course can no longer be offered. After consultation with the Lions Youth Camp committee it was decided to defer the 19th course until 2019. This would hopefully have given the camp an opportunity to address several facility issues that impeded the course the previous year, notably the problem with overland water flow. This problem persists on an unpredictable basis and combined with other issues has led to the cancellation of the program after 18 successful offerings.

The Lions Youth Introductory Leadership Training Course is leadership training through socially, mentally and physically active programs. These take the form of seminars and group/team game competitions, learning the values of cooperation, planning, compromising and leading, and conflict resolution. Your positive response in past years to our invitation to sponsor youth to the annual Lions Youth Leadership Training Course has encouraged us to offer this course for over eighteen years. We appreciate your concern and agreement about the importance of nurturing our youth by providing the necessary training and preparation to help face the uncertainties of the real world.
