Caleb Parker, MA, is a Senior Research Associate/GIS Analyst with 15 years of experience supporting public health research and programs with data visualization and spatial data analyses, and also with qualitative and quantitative methods. Mr. Parker currently serves as a GIS analyst on a variety of projects in the Behavioral, Epidemiological, and Clinical Sciences division, and provides technical assistance for design, data collection, database processing and management, and analysis of spatial information using a geographic information system (GIS) throughout the organization. He has experience conducting GIS trainings to build capacity for data utilization for country and partner teams, and using GIS for travel time estimation, location-allocation, catchment area modeling, and static and interactive mapping on the ArcGIS platforms. Mr. Parker also has experience in both qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis. He enjoys supporting research initiatives across an often intertwining spectrum of development needs, including public health, education, environment, and economic resources.
