Sol Folium (2025)

Sol Folium explores the impressionistic abilities of the Bolex H16 to translate and express the grace of the fall season into a dizzying mosaic of movement, emotion, color, and memory. Shot entirely in-camera on a 100' roll of Kodak's 16mm Ektachrome, the film was a self-conscious challenge to slow down, exist in the present, and appreciate the simple beauty of our natural world.

Music video for the experimental electroacoustic artist,The City Underground. Performed with handmade electroacoustic instruments and DIY synthesizers. Shot on digital in stark black and white, this collaboration sought to explore the raw and elemental relationship between traditional acoustic instruments and their electrical manipulation. The cinematography captures the jerry-rigged technologies developed by The City Underground and showcases the skillful balance required to bring forth their communal relationship into harmony.
Rough Cut (2022)

Rough Cut is a short narrative film about a disgruntled film editor struggling to complete an unwieldy movie before it consumes her entirely. Shot on digital and 16mm, Rough Cut reflexively explores the often maddening and all-consuming practice of film editing while showcasing the material conditions of editing on film.
Chisel (2022)

Chisel is a meditation on the rejuvenating power of dance during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Shot almost exclusively on 16mm black and white, the production team ultimately chose to shoot on film because it offered the story an unsettling, textured aesthetic that aligned with the grim isolation of the pandemic. However, the tragedies of the pandemic eventually gave way to a renewed sense of hope and love, embodied in Chisel through dance.
