Why technology and gaming?

I have always been fascinated with learning and understanding how things work, and have found that technology and science have been great avenues for exploring that. I am intrigued by the role that technology plays in daily life, and our great reliance on the machines that most people have little understanding of. It is a field of continuous learning, that keeps my interest and shapes the world.

Games in general are ways of having fun that focus on performing particular skill sets or big plays. Many games reward players who master those skills and strategy, whether it be football, counterstrike or monopoly. Video games are a way for billions of people around the world to share interests and have fun, a kind of universal connection through play that I wish to be able to give to people who are on hard times or struggle to find fun on their own.
