Principal Investigator. Héctor is especially interested in using computational methods to answer questions related to the human gut microbiome and biology education.

Nisha is a Biology major who is interested in pursuing careers related to biomedical research and bioinformatics. She has worked with multiple projects in the lab, including protein-protein interactions and educational research.

Mateo is majoring in Political Science and Environmental Science. He is interested in public policy with a focus on environmental issues. He works on understanding the career development process of STEM students at Caldwell.

Lia is a Biology major at Caldwell University, with minors in Psychology and Neuroscience. Her research investigates whether C. elegans can be used as a biosensor for rare cancers.

Dinushka is a senior Biology major with minors in Neuroscience and Chemistry studying the role of gut bacteria in Social Anxiety Disorder using Bioinformatics tools.

Taharat is a Biology major interested in using computational tools to analyze drug-protein interactions. She joined the lab as a summer student and has now joined to continue her work throughout the academic year!

Sital is a Nursing major who is exploring the STEM landscape beyond healthcare. He is excited to grow as a multidisciplinary student through his research with us.
